1. Pastor Edwin Koh Boon Leng

Pastor Edwin was born in Kuantan, Pahang in 1976. He received the Lord Jesus as Saviour in 1994. It was a time where as he said, "literally no future". God opened the door for him to complete his Bachelor of Arts double majors degree from the Flinders University of South 


Australia in Business Economics and International Relations in 1997. 

While he was studying in Australia, it was there God gave pastor, the desire to build God a church in Johor Bahru. He knew that God had already called him to walk with him. However, circumstances and timing was not right. After returning from Australia in 1998, he began working, however he never forgotten God's call on his life. God's call on his life was confirmed over and over again. So it was in 2000, he resigned and decided to go full-time at Calvary City Church, JB. (Then Calvary Charismatic Centre). There he met Caroline, and they got married in 2002.

It was in 2003, that God called them both out of their positions at CCC, to walk with Him. With much confirmation, they had no choice but to obey. It was in that year, God confirmed the call to build Word of Life Church.  The first 5 years of doing Church, it was definitely a time to unlearn and to re-learn. God definitely was their mentor. Only in the 2011, they begin to see breakthrough and growth. Pastor said, the moment they totally gave up building the Church, was the time God took control (Isaiah 60).

Pastor Edwin  completed his theological training with Global University (formerly known as ICI) which is affiliated with Bible College of Malaysia. He has a 2nd Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology. Pastor Edwin is also a Mission School graduate in 2002 with Calvary City Church.

2. Pastor Caroline Chia Mui Eng

Pastor Caroline has a diploma in Business Administration from Tunku Abdul Rahman College in Malaysia. She will also be graduating from Bible School this year.

They been serving God for 15 years and have the burning passion to share Jesus and telling people about the Holy Spirit and to see emerging generations rise-up in faith and passion for the Lord. They believe no matter what age you are, if you pay the price to believe Jesus, amazing things He will do to you and thru you.

They are committed to building the glorious Church of God by following Jesus Christ (Mt 16:19) as Christ builds His church (His people) in His Word, in His Power, in His Character to bring Him glory (Mt 21:21). The Kingdom of God is here and now (Mt 10:7). Jesus govens through us..He governs through His Word..we His children must declare the decrees of God..that He Reigns forevermore ! His word will set people free !. They want to see people raised up to serve Christ blameless and effective. They are committed !. 

Parents of 2 boys, Jeremy 10 and Joel 5. They believe in doing life with people..and thru love, people will know Christ. Freely they receive, freely they give.
